Darla has over 34 years of experience connecting businesses to people with disabilities for employment. She has owned her own consulting business, the CSI Network, since 2010 and continues to provide consultation and training specific to the employment of people with disabilities. In 2014 Darla contracted with Disability Inclusion of Greater Kansas City and is now the Executive Director working with companies to help them advance their disability inclusion efforts in the workplace, marketplace and supply chain. Darla self identifies as a person with a disability since acquiring a brain injury in 2006. She holds a master’s degree in public administration with a non-profit emphasis from University of Missouri-Kansas City and has served on many national and statewide boards focusing on increased employment for people with disabilities. Partnering with businesses to assist in elevating inclusion in the workplace, as well has providing employment services training and consultation, is her passion.
Brenda has spent her career as a small business owner in the employee benefits and communications arena working with business and HR leaders to improve employee appreciation, engagement and retention. She has extensive volunteer leadership experience with SHRM-KC and Missouri SHRM and understands the challenges of disability inclusion and talent acquisition. She was a founding board member and past president of the Greater Kansas City Business Leadership Network, now Disability:IN GKC. As Business Relations Consultant, Brenda is the liaison between corporate members and leads our partnerships and communications efforts.

Jill has been in the workforce inclusion field for 11 years and completed her Master’s degree in Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from Park University in 2019. During that time, she started her own business and individual consulting to increase training and employment opportunities. She recently revitalized an employment program at Sherwood Autism Center. Previously, she worked at Easterseals Midwest, where she was the Employment, Pre-Employment, and Community Integration Manager. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Pre-Law from University of Missouri Kansas City, in addition to being a Certified Employment Support Professional, CESP Facilitator, and an active member of the Missouri Association of People Supporting Employment First. Jill’s passion for helping adults find meaningful work stems from her belief that employment is an important part of living a fulfilling life and should be an option regardless of the disability. Jill joined our team in March 2020 as our Social Media Coordinator and February 2021 became our Assistant Director responsible for programs and services and community partner relations.
